Technically, Box Alarm Grilles was founded in 2014...
But our true roots go back much further.
You could say it all started with this firehouse...
Where our founder Danny spent his childhood.
As the third generation of his family to occupy this building, Danny would spend his time running the truck floor, washing the rigs...
Or helping out wherever he could.
Even from an early age, he knew the trucks were kept spotless, the floor was always swept...
And when the tones dropped it meant turning out fast.
Being from Station 22 meant somethingand it was everyone's job to maintain that reputation...
And be proud of it.

We Were Born Out of Pride
In 2014, Danny (now a firefighter at Station 22) wanted to put the legendary "22" on the grille.
He wanted everyone to know who was coming down the road.
But there were no fabrication companies with enough pride in their own work to do the job right.
So Danny did it himself.
The rest is history...

It's been a decade since those first grille numbers made their first run...
And we've only gotten better.
Today, Box Alarm Grilles is the renowned source for the highest-quality apparatus grille numbers and full-width custom mudflaps.
All of our materials are still locally sourced and our products are manufactured by hand right here in the U.S.
